Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and similar technologies on our website.
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Browser storage, including localStorage and sessionStorage, performs similar functions and is covered by this policy.
2. Categories We Use
Strictly necessary storage remembers your privacy choice and supports accurate one-time conversion measurement after an enquiry. Analytics helps us understand visits and improve the website, but is used only after consent.
3. Strictly Necessary Storage

|---|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent | localStorage | Remembers whether analytics was accepted or rejected and when the choice was made. | Until browser storage is cleared. |
| successful-enquiry-conversion | sessionStorage | Used only after analytics consent to count one successfully delivered enquiry once. | Up to 30 minutes or until used. |
4. Analytics Providers
No analytics script, cookie or pixel loads before you select “Accept All”. Google advertising features are not enabled.

5. How Consent Works
Selecting “Accept All” stores your choice and allows analytics to load. Selecting “Reject All” or closing the banner stores a rejection and analytics remains disabled. The WhatsApp shortcut is delayed until after the banner has disappeared, but using WhatsApp is your choice and opens an external service.
6. Withdrawing Consent
You can withdraw consent by clearing site data for local-guttercleaner.co.uk in your browser settings. The banner will appear again on your next visit so you can make a new choice.
7. Your Rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal data and may withdraw consent at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details and information about contacting the ICO.
8. Browser Controls
You can control and delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Guidance is available from AboutCookies.org and the Information Commissioner’s Office.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
